Hailing frequencies

It occurs to me that few of my male friends use any online or mobile social technologies. I am including the Facebook, MySpace and Flickr action as well. I can count on one hand  those that even use instant messaging. Guys like @ceward @flaida and @Jedig33k are the exception to the rule. I am not sure why more folks are up on the Twitter. But that is just three guys. From my college contacts alone it is overwhelmingly female. Are they just better communicators/networkers?

    Phil, that's a great idea.

Good question and interesting topic. It seems our crowd sticks with Facebook but is slowly joining the twitter expedition. Not many with blogs but then again micro-blogging appears to be killing that altogether so who knows *shrug*.

Maybe it's time to create a “how to plan, create, maintain, and enjoy an online life” flyer, and pass it around class?
